Position your Wavlink Extender such that it is positioned midway between your Wi-Fi router and the area with weak signal strength. This ensures a reliable connection. To use the extender with your router, connect it to a nearby electrical outlet after the power LED on it has solidified. Go to your device’s WiFi settings and establish a connection using the default network name (SSID) of the extender. Launch a web browser and enter the extender’s default IP address—typically 192.168.10.1—in the address bar. The Wavlink wifi extender setup page then appears on the screen. When configuring your extender, make sure its network name and password are distinct from those of your router.
