Every Town And City In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet

Because Pokemon Scarlet and Violet take place in an open world with few buildings that can be reached, the towns are easy to forget.
Some of the least interesting places in the Pokemon series are in Scarlet and Violet. In an open world game like this, they look like blips on the map instead of real places to go, and most buildings are just surfaces, so you can’t go inside.
All of that being said, Paldea’s city plans aren’t bad. They’re smart and have great ways to show that they are the Gym Leaders that live inside. Let’s look at each town and city in Scarlet & Violet and see how they really come to life when you visit every part of them.
Zapapico

Every town needs something, even if it’s not something great like a gym or a landmark. There are two Pokecenters, a sandwich shop, and a battlefield in the middle of the mine town of Zapapico that you can’t see.
At this point, you’ve probably already been to a lot of great places, which makes this even worse. It’s possible that Zapapico is the worst town in the range.
Los Platos

It’s the same in Los Platos as it is in Zapapico, but there’s even less going on. There are only four houses and a Pokecenter. But that’s only because it’s the first town you find when you start the game. Before you get to Mesagoza, Scarlet & Violet‘s main city, it’s only meant to be a sign. It shouldn’t have anything very interesting.
To put it another way, it’s probably there so people can live in the city and work from home without all the noise and chaos. It may be worse than Zapapico, but it makes more sense.
Cabo Poco

You begin the game in the town of Cabo Poco. Your house and Nemona’s house are the only buildings there. Both are beautiful and fun to explore, with a beach, a small yard, and even some cool water nearby, but that’s all there is to it.
The first town in the game doesn’t bring much to the table, but it does make you wonder about the facilities in the area. The only people living there are two families. How is there any kind of economy? Where do the other people who live here permanently live?
Medali

Medali is the first big city on this list. It has a Normal-type gym, which makes sense since the city is pretty dull. Along with a lot of restaurants for the people who work there, it’s just a bunch of rectangle-shaped buildings.
A pit that looks old and has two Oinkologne cut into it is meant to be interesting, but you can only look at it and can’t figure out what it means or where it came from. It’s by far the dullest big city in Paldea, which is a shame because you’ll be going there a lot to change a Pokemon’s type to Tera.
Cortondo

Cortondo is likely to be the first place you visit on your Victory Road trip. It’s close to the Academy and is also where Katy, the weakest Gym Leader, lives. And it’s not bad for the town with the first Gym!
Cortondo is a small town of farmers and craftsmen. It is surrounded by farms and olive groves. But Katy’s bakery and gym setting is without a doubt the best thing about it. Even though you can’t buy anything from it, it looks like it was put together by hand around several big trees and has a lot of decorations that look like they are made of string.
Artazon

People know Artazon for the huge windmill that you see when you enter the town. Even though it sounds cool, the game’s speed still makes it move more like a clock than a windmill. In spite of that, the town is still great, with buildings and flowers that make you feel like you’re in Disney’s Fantasy Land.
The name Artazon comes from the words “Art” and “Amazon.” Brassius is an artist and the grass-type Gym Leader, so the name fits him perfectly. His figures are all over town and look great with nearby buildings like a playground, a hedge maze, and a huge pool. The idea behind this place is to be a holiday spot, like Disneyland.
Porta Marinada

The town of Porta Marinada is a port that lies between the water and a big cliff. The buildings are bright and colorful, which makes the auction house stand out even more. But that color can also be found inside the auction house, where different Water-type Pokemon are shown on tile patterns.
The way you get into it is what makes it really different from other places. You’re sent there to help Kofu, the Water-type Gym Leader. You have to face a desert to get there, but when you get there, you see this beautiful town on a cliff. You can see the water and the whole city from the road that goes down the cliff. It’s like you’ve found an oasis.
Alfornada

Alfornada is a small town with some of the most interesting looks in Drive Mad. The town is famous for its pottery, and it’s made of bricks, tiles, and different kinds of clay art. The fact that it’s so hard to get to makes it even more interesting. There is a rock on one side and a cave on the other. This is a great place to catch strong Pokemon late in the game.
The Gym is the best thing about Alfornada, though. It’s huge, and around it are sculptures of the original sprites used to represent Pokemon in Red and Blue. This adds a lovely retro touch that shows how important history is to the town.
Mesagoza

One of Paldea’s most famous towns, Mesagoza, is the center of Scarlet and Violet. Without a doubt, the game’s biggest area. There are many shops and bars in Mesagoza, but the most important place is the Academy, where you can take lessons and fight.
But that’s not even the best thing about Mesagoza; there are many other places to discover, and each one has its own character. There’s a nice park-like area, a lively town center, and a part of buildings that are very close to each other. You can also look around on the roofs of the houses.
Montenevera

Perhaps Montenevera is one of the smaller towns, but it sure has its own style. Montenevera is a mountain town with a creepy glow from the many candles and lamps that are strewn around. It is where Ryme and her Ghost Gym live. But if you don’t like that kind of quiet, there’s also a stage where Ryme holds her shows and Gym fights.
The Glaseado Gym next door makes Montenevera even more interesting. The Gym itself isn’t very exciting compared to its neighbor’s style and flair. It takes away the joy of the present, but it makes Montenevera look even cooler.
Cascarrafa

This three-level city is an oasis on the edge of the Asado Desert. You can go up or down to the next level using the lifts on each wall. There is a steady flow of water. It’s clear that this is the most unique-looking city in all of Paldea.
There is a strong smell of water in Cascarrafa, even when there is a sandstorm in the desert nearby. The blue and white tiles make it stand out from the rest of the area and make you feel calm. Along with Fortree City and Balonlea, it is one of the most unique towns in all of Pokemon.
Levincia

Levincia is the only city in Scarlet and Violet that makes you feel awe-struck. The city is very bright and lively, and you can often see the lights from a long way away at night, luring you in with the promise of fun and adventure.
Levincia is home to Iono, who is one of the sassiest new Gym Leaders in Paldea. It also has a lot of shops and restaurants that you can enjoy. There is also a lighthouse nearby and docks below the city, so there is a lot to see. It’s almost like living in one of the best towns in the Pokemon series. It has lots of fun signs.
