In a garage in Los Angeles, Richard Stark and John Bowman established Chrome Hearts in 1988. During that period, Stark dealt in premium leather skins, and Bowman made leather clothing. Because they couldn’t locate motorcycle apparel that they liked, they decided to start a leather goods company and design their own accessories and jackets. Not long after that, they were joined by Leonard Kamhout, a great jeweler specializing in sterling silver, who became their third member. They started making leather coats with silver hardware, such as snap buttons and zippers. 

It was in 1994 when Stark and his co-founders made the decision to split ways. Not long after, Stark met Laurie Lynn, a renowned Chrome Hearts leather bathing suit buyer, married her and made her a business partner.  Chrome Hearts’ initial storefront debuted at 159 East 64th Street, Manhattan, in 1996. The company has expanded to over 28 locations globally, selling fashionable hoodies, hats, and jewelry of the highest quality. Chrome Hearts x Drake

This compilation was only available at Chrome Hearts’ Miami location when it was released in May 2021, a few months before Drake’s album Certified Lover Boy was released. Lynn states that the collection was intended to be exceedingly restricted in its availability. She further said that Drake wanted the collab to be totally unique and should be remembered for years to come. He wanted people to talk about the collaboration of clothing products even after years and praise rather than forgetting what was produced. In this collaboration, Chrome Hearts crafted some heart-throbbing pieces that include hoodies and jeans along with other items notebooks, jade facial rollers, and keychains. 

Chrome Hearts x Off-White

A single, bright orange hoodie with black branding was the only item that was included in the Chrome Hearts x Off-White drop, which was one of the most significant collaborations to date. This drop was revealed by Virgil Abloh not long after he shared information about his fascinating CST-001 shoe for the Fall/Winter 2018 season. The prominent logo is shown on the back, accompanied by the year “2018,” the image is represented on the front but with a reduced size. It should be noted that this was not the first time the two firms had worked together; in 2016, they collaborated on a limited-edition t-shirt offering, which had a lime green color that was particularly eye-catching.

Chrome Hearts x BAPE

This gorgeous collaboration takes us all the way back to 2009, when the two icons worked together on a t-shirt drop that was sold at BAPE shops in men’s, women’s, and children’s sizes, with designs that were exclusive to each individual store. A total of twelve “Baby Milo Plush” t-shirts were sent throughout the globe as part of the collection, which also included an extremely limited run of these t-shirts.
