9 Best Misc. Missions For Fast XP Boosts In Starfield

In Starfield, doing different tasks is a quick and easy way to earn cash and experience. These are some of the best ways to get more XP.
Starfield has a number of different types of tasks, and Misc. Most of the time, missions are the less exciting types of side quests. Even though they’re not as dramatic as some of the group quests or even the main Constellation task, they’re still fun to do and add to the world of Starfield.
Players will get a small amount of XP from most of these tasks, anywhere from 50 to 200. Players should try to stay away from quests that give them less than 100. Here are some of the easy Misc. Missions in Starfield that will give you at least 100 XP. The tasks were picked because they are easy to finish quickly and don’t require a lot of resources like things that heal or provide ammo.
Heart Of Mars

- Location: Cydonia, Mars, Sol System
- How To Start: Start by talking to Laylah Pulaski. She is usually on the lower floor with the workers.
- Rewarded XP: 100
There’s a story going around among the workers on Mars, and Laylah Pulaski is the first to tell the player about it. She tells them to go into a cave to find the supposed Heart of Mars, which is actually a very expensive pile of titanium ore.
In addition to the XP reward, players get to keep this valuable item after completing the task. All they have to do is give the gold back to Laylah.
All For One

- Location: Neon, Volii System
- How To Start: Talk to James Newill in his Neon store. Core
- Rewarded XP: 100
Neon is a great place to get XP because it has a lot of small Misc. Missions packed into a small area. Talking to any of the sellers will start a number of tasks, such as “All For One,” which you can get from James Newill.
Starfield players’ only job in this quest is to get another seller to stop paying Neon’s security guards money to keep them safe. Newill’s wife is usually sweeping the shop where he works, so talk to her to get an extra conversation choice during the persuasion minigame. This will give you a better chance of persuasion.
Balancing The Books

- Location: Ryujin Tower (Operations floor), Neon City, Volii System
- How To Start: Talk to Rafiq Shamza, who you can find outside of Imogen’s office.
- Rewarded XP: 100
A Ryujin worker named Rafiq Shamza is likely to be seen by players when they first start their Ryujin questline. He works on the Operations floor. Anyone who is willing to help should find a few sheets of paper after talking to Huong Le and finish his quick little job.
This quest is quick and easy, so make sure to pick it up while you’re doing other tasks for the Ryujin group.
Bare Metal

- Location: Neon, Volii System
- How To Start: Talk to Frank at his Neon store. Core
- Rewarded XP: 100
Frank, one of the sellers, is linked to another quest in Neon. Someone broke into his robot Styx and made it very unhappy. This makes him angry. The bad guy, Warlord, can be found hanging out at Euphorika, so Starfield players need to find him.
The players decide what to do. Either way, Frank will be pleased with the work and give the players a fair amount of XP as a prize. They are close to each other, so it’s easy to make the trip during any other important parts of the story.
Defensive Measures (And Consecutive Quests)

- Location: Akila City, Cheyenne System
- How To Start: Listen to the fight between Keoni Alpin and Davis Wilson.
- Rewarded XP: 100 XP for each consecutive step
Now we’ll go to Akila City, where Keoni Alpin is having a fight with Davis Wilson over the Ashta problem. The first thing players do in Defensive Measures is help Keoni put down some monitors next to the city wall. So Keoni can get into a port, players will also have to deal with a guard in the area. For the last step, having finished the Freestar Ranger quest line is very helpful because players can just tell the guard to leave his place.
After this task, there are two steps that are pretty easy to finish one after the other. In between, the player just needs to wait a few hours, which they can do by sleeping or sitting around. Each step after the first one (False Positives and Leader of the Pack) gives players 100 XP. At the end, they have 300 XP. There is some fighting in the second and final step, but people at a lower level should be able to handle it without too much trouble.
Keeping The Peace

- Location: New Atlantis, Alpha Centauri
- How To Start: Speak with Sergeant Yumi
- Rewarded XP: 100
It is very easy to start this quest as soon as a player arrives in New Atlantis and walks past the city scan. HQ for the sergeant is on the right side of the station. Geometry Dash Subzero players will be given a simple job by Yumi: they need to get a package after talking to another UC agent.
The quest is very easy to complete because all you have to do is walk around New Atlantis for less than five minutes. On top of that, the sergeant will give more tasks in the future.
Saburo’s Solution

- Location: Neon, Volii System
- How To Start: Speak with Saburo at the Mining League
- Rewarded XP: 100
Let’s go back to Neon. Saburo is in charge of the nearby Mining League and wants the player to help them out by making some flyers. Give them to some of the other sellers in the area. Some will say no, but others will be glad to take a look.
There are a lot of vendor-related jobs in Neon, and this task is pretty useful because it can be done at the same time. Also, each store in Neon Core is pretty close to the others, so you don’t have to go very far to get the 100 XP prize.
Charity Of The Wolf

- Location: Akila City, Cheyenne System
- How To Start: You can randomly get the quest and then move forward by talking to Amira in the Stretch.
- Rewarded XP: 200
This one is hard to pick up at first, but players will soon hear that Amira needs help with her home. Players can give her a small payment, but there’s also a different set of jobs where they need to find a wheat package and collect more donations.
This walkthrough guide has everything you need to know to finish Charity of the Wolf. It takes a little longer to finish, but players don’t have to do much extra. The XP prizes have been increased to 200, which is great for a Misc. Mission.
Juno’s Gambit

- Location: Random
- How To Start: Destroy the hired guns that are threatening Khambatta and Collins’ ship.
- Rewarded XP: 200
Starfield has a lot of interesting side missions. One of the most interesting ones starts when players jump into a system and see an Ecliptic ship attacking a civilian ship. Since this seems to be random, it could take a while for it to happen. It can also be very helpful for this task if the Ryujin questline is still going after the hire stage.
After killing the soldiers, get on the ship to meet Khambatta and Collins, two Ryujin agents who are fighting about what should happen to an AI that has gone bad. The player can choose what to do with Juno, and they will get 200 XP no matter what they choose.
